Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1:
Upon your arrival in Tbilisi, Georgia, our dedicated local representative will be waiting for you outside the baggage hall area at the airport. From there, you will be escorted to your hotel. Please note that the standard check-in time is after 1500Hrs. Once you have settled in, you can join an orientation tour in the evening, followed by a delightful dinner.
Day 2:
Today, we will begin our day with a delightful buffet breakfast. Our first stop will be the renowned Metekhi Cathedral, which was established in the 13th century. Next, we will visit the impressive Narikala Fortress, dating back to the 4th century. We will then have the opportunity to walk across the Bridge of Peace, a remarkable architectural masterpiece that conveniently connects the newly constructed Rike Park with the Old Town. Continuing our exploration, we will discover the underground sulphur baths, a district famous for its naturally hot mineral waters, as well as the charming cafe street Shardeni, the Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral, and the ancient Basilica of Anchiskhati, which dates back to the 6th century. After enjoying a delicious lunch, we will embark on a drive to Mtskheta, where we will have the chance to explore its historical sites, including the Jvari Monastery from the 6th century and the Svetitskoveli Cathedral from the 11th century, which is renowned as the burial place of Christ's robe. Before returning to the hotel, we will take a leisurely stroll along the narrow streets of Mtskheta, perfect for some souvenir shopping. Finally, we will conclude our day with a satisfying dinner.
Day 3:
Today, following a buffet breakfast, our journey will take us north along the Georgian Military Highway, all the way to the border with Russia. The entire route will be lined with breathtaking mountain views. Along the way, we will stop to explore the Ananuri fortress (built in the 16th century), Jinvali Water Reservoir, and capture the stunning scenery of the Gudauri ski resort through a photo session. Our next destination will be Stepantsminda, also known as Kazbegi, a charming small town in northeastern Georgia. Renowned for its spectacular mountain vistas and natural beauty, Kazbegi is a must-visit destination in Georgia. Here, we will visit the Gergeti Trinity Church, situated at an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level. After dinner, we will return to the hotel.
Day 4:
Today, we have the pleasure of exploring the captivating and scenic hilltop town of Sighnaghi, located in the heart of Georgia's renowned wine-growing region. This charming town boasts pastel-colored houses and charming narrow cobblestone streets that offer breathtaking views of the expansive Alazani Valley and the majestic Caucasus Mountains. Our day will begin with engaging masterclasses on the art of making churchkhela and traditional Georgian bread known as "shoti." Following this, we will have the opportunity to savor the world-famous Georgian Wine during a delightful tasting session, accompanied by a delicious lunch. Later, we will pay a visit to the Bodbe Female Monastery, which holds the sacred grave of Saint Nino, the enlightener of Georgia. After a satisfying dinner, we will return to our hotel, concluding our memorable day.
Day 5:
Following breakfast at your hotel this morning, make your way to the airport as this incredible tour draws to a close. Depart with cherished memories from your journey.
Exclusions of the package
The package price does not cover charges for Point of Entry (POE), porterage, and passport fees. Additionally, the cost of the Basic Travel Quota equivalent to USD 10,000, as well as applicable Government Taxes & Service taxes, are not included.
The airfare cost included in the total tour price is based on the fare structure in effect as of April 1st, 2024. However, any further increase in airfare due to changes in fuel prices, Government regulations, taxes, or any other charges imposed by the airline will be the responsibility of the passengers.
Furthermore, any increase in the exchange rate that leads to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements before departure is not covered in the tour price. Please note that the tour price is subject to change without prior notice if there is a substantial change in the exchange rate before departure.
Expenses of a personal nature, such as laundry, wines, mineral water, and any food or drink not included in the regular menus provided by us, are not included in the package.
Tips for guides, hotel waiters, drivers, and any additional meals not mentioned in the itinerary are also not covered.
Lastly, the cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees, and local guides that are not included in your itinerary will be the responsibility of the passenger.
